I created my first computer programs in the 1980s, and first webpage around 1999!

I am an old hand, and wiley old fox when it comes to this computer lark. My areas of interest tend to "things I have not done before."

I am motivated by the technical challenge and the project. I am quite boring, code and logic orientated, blagging people is not my thing.

I offer:

• Web applications, be they webpages or websites, or the back-end server code that powers the front end.
• Android smartphone apps, sorry I am outside of the lucrative Apple ecosystem and intend to remain that way.
• Custom Windows desktop applications.
• Custom Linux desktop applications.
• Custom code to do custom things that does not extend to a full blown application.
• Stuff to do with data and databases.
• Setting up emailing systems.
• Setting up server environments.
• Encryptors and decryptors.
• Auth systems.
• Security hardened systems.
• AI integrations and use cases, and running AIs locally on machines you own.
• Consultancy and advice to keep costs low, and outcomes right. Code is effectively "free to get" these days but knowing what's needed and how to put everything together so that it works is something else.

I am handy with various computer programming languages, some more than others. My awareness of fads and fashions in the field, not 100%, but I am often able to work out when something is pointless, and other times very necessary.

I don't take on projects I am not interested in. But I do offer up to two hours no obligation, free remote consultancy to sound out what exactly you might want, and the best way of going about things, if I am interested.
